Racism or Honest Mistake, again and again and again??

Watching another less than satisfactory performance from India as they went down to England in the 3rd one day at edgbaston, i'm again boggled by the question as to why do we indians feel afraid of the new ball and don't back our batting strength?? We've faced the wrath of bowling first many a times, from the semi-final, 1996 world cup ( made famous by azhar's supposed matchfixing, and vinod kambli's tears ) , the world cup finals in 2003 ( zaheer's famous glare at adam gilchrist and the carnage thereafter) and the 1st match in the ongoing series.
But, there's another very important question hanging in the air, which, although can't be blamed for today's entire catastrophe but still needs to be raised up. The umpiring standards in the current series, right throughout the test series and the one day matches now, have been, at best, poor. But the important, more subtle point is that most of these errors, alomst all if i'm not wrong, have gone against the indians.

Dravid at lords, Sachin and Ganguly at trent-bridge, Ganguly again at the oval, and sachin given out on 99 in the second one day match.

But, looking back at today's match, given that India lot by 42 runs, the one decision that'll really be hurting the Indians will be the sre shot appeal against collingwood turned down.
I may be naive but it seems that all the "wrong" decisions have been given against batsmen who are not of the fair skin. Does racism exist in cricket, and are umpires really affected by the fact that a dark/brown skinned man is standing at the other end? Hard to say, but the evidence does seem incriminating!!
Call me a sentimental, blundering fool, but sachin's track record of BAD dismissals, in the 99-00 series down under, right till the match the other day, forced me think about this issue.
To my best knowledge, i cant remember Ricky Ponting, now being considered as the person to break all of sachin's record, ever, and i mean EVER gettin OUt a poor decision, let alone walking when he knows he's out. That's the hallmark of true GREATs, and two ever match up to this standard, a BLACK by the name of BRIAN CHARLES LARA, and a BROWN SKINNED by the name of SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR.
So much for comparisons!!!!

every bad decision against the indians brings up the same arguments of racism,bias,prejudice....it is not true. sreesanth at lords?? was that not out? the english won that test dude..its just that when a close decision is given not out it creates less of a flutter..

oh..i love sachin to death.but ponting is the best batsman in the game right now.the reason why you cannot remember him getting a wrong decision is because his innings are not as shaky and he does not give that many chances.would he pad up to COLLINGWOOD on 93??? and pls dont get me started on walking..its rubbish.
